We knew when we bought our home we needed something else to complete it. Lucy (former Somber) was the best addition we could have asked for. Thank you Bo Nose Rescue for this darling (sometimes devilish) pup. We love every minute with her!
Another great update from a adopter. Paris was a frightened girl when we rescued her from death row at MDAS. She would hardly walk if you made eye contact. Now Paris is thriving in her new home! Pictured are before and after pics, before we could not get her to even stand for a picture she was so frightened. Look at her now. We have Paris' brother Detour still in rescue I know given the chance he will also thrive in a home as a only dog.
Ms. McClaran,
Just want drop a line tell you that Paris is doing fine and she is pretty much came out of her shell. She is great with my girls and gets along just fine with other pets. She has really fit in and is at ease in my home. I just want thank you for rescuing her from that kill shelter and to give her a second chance to become a beautiful dog that she is. Also want to thank you for letting me adopt Paris.
Sincerely
Mr. Ray

This is why we do what we do!
Chrystal,
Some times you pick the dog and sometimes the dog chooses you.
Rosie has vehemently chosen me as her love object and does not allow my Lab to come near me and when I do pet him she has a fit and does the herding nip on my hands to stop me petting another dog.
She follows me from room to room and loves to learn everything she can, language, her name, sit, come, down, she developed her muscle tone by chasing after the tennis ball and going out for a walk.
Her paws are small but her heart is huge. Orthopedically speaking, she has made an amazing recovery from that awful looking feeble walking thing. Evidently, she did not get any exercise in that Miami Kennel.
Interestingly, I have learned that there is very little doubt that Rosie is an "Alpha Female".
She is also playing chess when we are playing checkers.
If I am holding the Lab and I call her, she will not move a muscle. However, if I am not with the Lab, she comes right to me.
She is actually modifying MY behavior to do something she wants me to do. (Wow)
Shall be available to sign your Docs whenever its convenient for you.
We are happy together and I am going to teach her how to get me on my feet and how to get my rolling walker going.
Next year I am going to have another round of implant surgeries and these will knock me down but I have a couple of dogs to get me up again.
I have every confidence she will try anything and everything to help me.
God Bless
Jay

This was Gizmo and is now Haddie. She was adopted from you on 3/21/14 and her adopted mother is Kathy Randall. Haddie is an amazing pet with a personality like none other. She has been adopted into my community as the community mascot at the Palms of Monterrey, a very pet friendly community. Her adopted birthday is coming up soon and I want to share this with you guys. My life has changed forever since my sister in Iowa found Gizmo-Haddie online. Thank you and God Bless you!
